So What's New? Blog hop
If you came here from Adele's blog http://adelescricutcreations.blogspot.com/ then you are in the right place! For day two of the blog hop, I thought I would share a simple layout. The pictures are of my son and my two adorable (if I say so myself)grandsons. The stitching took a little longer than expected so I will finish and repost.

So What's New Blog Hop: Laura's Kitchen
Hi, this is Laura from Talkinscrap! If you came here from the Crafty Pink Butterfly's blog, then you are in the right spot.
I have been wanting to do one of the artist trays by 7 Gypsies for awhile so this blog hop inspired me to try one. I love the images from the Cricut Imagine Cartridge, "Kate's Kitchen" so I thought they would make a perfect home decor piece for my very bare kitchen. I sprayed all the papers and pieces with an acrylic spray to protect the paper since it will be hanging in my kitchen. I wished I had written down all the imagine sizes but I ended up cutting each piece so many times to make them fit perfectly that keeping track of sizes was impossible. I also inked the edges of each piece to give it a little more dimension and used lots and lots of dimensional adhesive.
I will be hopping again tomorrow with another project so leave a comment both days to be entered into a drawing for CTMH blog candy. (by 11:59 pm October 10) Your next stop is Adele at: http://adelescricutcreations.blogspot.com/

Cards and More
I have been making more cards lately even though I am more of a scrapbooker. This card was made using the Sophie Cricut Circle Cartridge. I scraplifted the card from the handbook. I love this cartridge and expect to use it alot.
I made the banner for the Indian Party that we had over the Labor Day weekend. It was double sided but I forgot to get a picture of the other side. I really love making banners but what to do with them when the party is over?

I made this card for my son PJ's 17th birthday. The card measures 7 x 4 and it was fun trying something different than the standard A2. Here is the inside of the card--I don't usually decorate the inside but I really like the look. The anteater and banner are from the Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge using my favorite Core'dinations cardstock.

The is a picture of my mom and her big sister. I used Page Maps for the layout. No, I didn't crochet the flowers although I probably should.

Flower Shoppe Frame
I made this for a housewarming gift for a co-worker. I used the Cricut Flower Shoppe cartridge for the three dimensional flowers. The paper is from DCWV Garden Party Stack. The sentiment reads "Whatever is true...whatever is lovely...think on these things.
